Biography
Federico Campolieti received his law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
He joined the firm in May 2000, as a member of the Regulatory and Administrative Law and Arbitration Departments.
He has dealt with regulatory issues as well as administrative law, counseling clients primarily engaged in the rendering of public services (water, gas, telecommunications, road concessions and airports). He has acted as counsel in many international arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). He has also been involved in several ICC international arbitrations, both as counsel and as secretary of the tribunals. Before joining our firm, he worked for the State Reform Committee of the Ministry of Justice.
He has taken a postgraduate qualification specializing in Administrative Law and Public Administration at the Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Law, where he is now Professor of Administrative Law.
He has lectured and published several papers on topics related to his area of expertise, both locally and abroad.
He is a member of Asociación Argentina de Derecho Administrativo (AADA) and of Asociación de Derecho Administrativo de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (ADA). He is a founding member of Asociación Internacional de Derecho Administrativo and an honorary member of Asociación Mexicana de Derecho Administrativo.
He is a member of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution Young & International (ICDR), the Young International Arbitration Group of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and of the Young Arbitrators Forum of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He has been a member of the IBA since 2008.
