Biography
Adrián Furman graduated as a lawyer from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1998.
He joined the firm in July, 2000 as a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Entertainment Departments.
He has been actively involved in a number of M&A transactions and regularly advises corporate clients on contractual matters. He also has experience in advertising, commercial loyalty and consumer defense matters.
He has taken a postgraduate qualification in legal consulting for companies at Universidad de Buenos Aires.
He serves as professor in the School of Law of the Universidad de Buenos Aires in civil and commercial contract law issues.
During 2005 he worked as an international associate at the New York offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett law firm.
In addition, he has made experience in Food Industry matters, being actively involved in the drafting and issuance of the Self-regulation Advertising Code for food and drinks.
He has written several publications regarding advertising and contracts matters.
He has been a speaker in a number of conferences in different international chambers of commerce in Argentina on several matters, such as the pesification incidence on international agreements, domestic agreements in foreign currency and promotional advertising matters.
