The financial restructuring area of M. & M. Bomchil provides comprehensive legal advice for local and foreign companies in insolvency and financial restructuring matters, both in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings. Our firm has assisted local debtors in the restructuring proceedings, negotiating with financial entities and debt securities holders.

The firm has specialized particularly in advising financial entities in restructuring proceedings. We have assisted three local financial entities in their restructuring proceedings according to Section 35 bis of the Financial Entities Law Nº 21,526 and in the subsequent orderly winding up process carried out through a reorganization proceeding. These proceedings were the first of their kind to be carried out in Argentina and they set forth a precedent regarding financial entities restructuring proceedings.
