Mónica Rothenberg is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Departments since January 2003.
She graduated with honors from Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Law in 1991.
In 1997, Ms. Rothenberg attended a specialization program in Capital Markets at the same university. At present, she is preparing her final dissertation for the Masters Degree in Law and Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
Ms. Rothenberg has extensive experience in commercial law, area in which she has counseled since 1989.
In 1993 she worked at the Legal Department of Banco Mercantil Argentino. Since 1994, Ms. Rothenberg has devoted most of her time to commercial law matters, especially as regards foreign companies, in Estudio Zaldívar, Manóvil & Asociados and nowadays in M. & M. Bomchil.
Ms. Rothenberg’s academic background dates back to 1989 in the School of Law and to 1994 in the School of Economic Sciences, both belonging to Universidad de Buenos Aires. At present, she serves as assistant professor of Commercial Law at Universidad de Buenos Aires and collaborates alternately in the courses of the following subjects: Business Organizations, Civil and Commercial Contracts, and Modern Contracts.
She participated in the following congresses: Ibero-American Corporate and Business Law Congress, V Corporate Law Congress, 1992. VI Corporate Law Congress - II Ibero-American Corporate and Business Law Congress, 1995, and Reorganization and Bankruptcy Congress, Mar del Plata, November 1997. Ms. Rothenberg is a member of Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal.
