Dumping
The Secretariat of Foreign Trade opened three new antidumping investigations
On 1 June 2012 the Ministry ordered the opening of three new antidumping investigations, namely:
- Resolution No. 49: iron drums of a capacity between 200 and 230 litters, with removable lid, secured by a metal ring (suncho) with toggle closure, originated from Chile. The involved products are classified according to Mercosur Customs Code 7310.10.90.
- Resolution No. 50: containers, with a length greater than or equal to 190 mm but lower than or equal to 520 mm, with a width greater than or equal to 120 mm but lower than or equal to 290 mm and with a height greater than or equal to 160 but lower than or equal to 250 mm, with 3 or 6 compartments, including lids, caps and cover caps, originated from Brazil. Involved products are classified according to Mercosur Customs Code 8507.90.20.
- Resolution No. 52: transmission belts of vulcanized rubber reinforced only with textile materials, of a width greater than or equal to originated from China and Brazil. Involved products are classified according to Mercosur Customs Code 4010.12.00.
